Contest Period:

The Presidents’ Day Craft Contest begins 12:00:00 A.M. Eastern Time (ET) on January 15, 2013  and ends at 11:59:59 P.M. ET on September February 18th, 2013 (the “Contest Period”).

Eligibility:

The Presidents’ Day Craft Contest is open only to legal United States residents who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of Hygloss Products and other vendor agencies involved in this Contest, as well as immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings and children) and household members of each such employee, are not eligible to enter.

The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Entry in the Contest constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to, and acceptance of, these Official Rules.

How to Enter:

All entries must include the entrant’s name, email, craft name, list of supplies used, instructions & a photo of the completed craft.

Prize:

Winners will receive:
  • American Flag Craft Tissue Kit
  • American Patriotic Craft Activity Kit
  • Patriotic Craft Stencil Set
  • A $100 Gift Certificate for Hygloss Products

Winners:

Contest winners will be determined on or around February 18th, 2013. Winners will be determined by Hygloss Products, whose decisions on all matters relating to the Contest shall be final and binding. The winner will be contacted with the information provided during entry. Hygloss Products shall have no liability for any potential prize winner notification that is lost, intercepted or not received by any potential prize winner for any reason. Winners will be contacted within ten (10) business days after the end of the Contest. If, despite reasonable efforts, any potential prize winner does not respond within (10) days of the first notification attempt, or if the prize notification is returned as unclaimed or undeliverable to such potential prize winner, such potential prize winner will forfeit his or her prize and an alternate winner may be selected at random from the total remaining eligible entries. If any potential prize winner is found to be ineligible, or if he or she has not complied with these Official Rules or declines a prize for any reason prior to award, such potential prize winner will be disqualified and an alternate prize winner may be selected at random from the total remaining eligible entries.

Publicity Release:

Each entrant acknowledges that his/her entry in the Contest constitutes that entrant’s consent for Hygloss Products to use, publish, reproduce and for all purposes, including publicity, promotion and advertising, in any media (including without limitation, the Internet, television or offline promotions), each winner’s name, voice, likeness, and any portion thereof, each extending throughout the universe and in perpetuity without further compensation, credit or right of review or approval.

Hygloss Products disclaims all liability for inadvertent electronic disconnections, acts beyond Hygloss Products control, or otherwise. Hygloss Products disclaims all liability for any delays, misdelivery, loss, or failure in the delivery of any item sent by electronic transmission, or other delivery method. Hygloss Products is not responsible for mechanical, technical, electronic, communications, telephone, computer, hardware or software errors, malfunctions or failures of any kind, including: traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website or lost or unavailable network connections which may limit an online entrant’s ability to participate in the Contest, and any injury or damage to entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participating in or downloading any information necessary to participate in the Contest.

Limitation of Liability and Other Conditions:

Hygloss Products reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this Contest or any portion hereof, or to disqualify any individual implicated in any of the following actions, if for any reason: (a) infection by computer virus, bugs, interruption in wireless calling devices or wireless service, tampering, unauthorized intervention, actions by entrants, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes which, in Hygloss Products sole opinion, corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Contest, (b) the Contest or any website associated therewith (or any portion thereof) becomes corrupted or does not allow the proper processing of entries per these Official Rules, or © the Contest is otherwise not capable of running as planned. Entrants agree to release, hold harmless and indemnify Hygloss Products and its parent, subsidiary companies, affiliates, divisions, franchisees, representatives, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, distributors, legal counsel, advertising, public relations, promotional, fulfillment and marketing agencies, and their officers, directors, employees, shareholders and agents (collectively the “Released Parties”), from and against any and all claims, actions and/or liability for any injuries or death, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with participation in and/or entry into the Contest or acceptance, delivery or use of any prize. The Released Parties are not responsible or liable for any incorrect or inaccurate entry information or other errors in the printing, offering or administration of the Contest or in the announcement of the prize(s) and assume no responsibility for (i) any error, omission, interruption, defect or delay in operation or transmission at any website, or wireless calling service, interrupted or unavailable network, server or other conditions, (ii) failure of any entry to be received by Hygloss Products due to technical problems, telephone service problems, human error, or wireless calling service, (iii) communication line, hardware and/or software failures, malfunction of phones (including wireless phones/
handsets), phone lines, other communications malfunctions, unavailable network connections, cellular equipment towers, telephone systems or wireless service, (iv) damage to any computer (software or hardware) resulting from participation in the Contest, or damage to mobile phone or other PDA device, (v) theft or destruction of, tampering with, unauthorized access to, or alteration of entries and/or entry information, or (vi) entries which are late, lost, stolen, damaged, illegible, and/or unintelligible (or any combination thereof). Any entrant who attempts to tamper with this Contest in any way shall be disqualified. By participating, entrants agree that the foregoing parties have neither made nor are in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation or guaranty, expressed or implied, in fact or in law, relating to any prize. Hygloss Products and its advertising and promotion agencies are not responsible for cancellations, postponements, or delays. Hygloss Products shall have the sole discretion to administer the Contest and interpret and apply the Official Rules.

Taxes:

Any valuation of the prizes stated above is based on available information provided to Hygloss Products, and the value of any prize awarded to a winner may be reported for tax purposes as required by law. All taxes, including federal, state and local taxes, are the sole responsibility of the winners.

Disputes:

Issues concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules shall be governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey. The state and federal courts in Bergen County, New Jersey shall have exclusive jurisdiction over all disputes arising out of or connected with the Contest. Should there be a conflict between the laws of the State of New Jersey and any other laws, the conflict will be resolved in favor of the laws of the State of New Jersey. All judgments or awards shall be limited to actual incurred out-of-pocket expenses (excluding attorney’s fees) associated with participation in the Contest and shall not include any indirect, punitive, incidental and/or consequential damages.
