Instructions

    1. Punch holes from red, orange, and yellow bright sheets. Place about 2 tablespoons into the plastic bag. Fold over the top and tape closed. (Make sure to leave just enough air so the "leaves" will fall nicely when you turn the bag up-side-down. Test it by turning the bag up-side-down and then right-side-up.)
    2. Cut the bark of the tree from cork using our Fall Leaves Art Pattern, or simply draw the shape by yourself. (2.5"x8")
    3. Now you are going to attach the bag to the cork by inserting it between the cork and the adhesive. Carefully lift up the cork from the adhesive lengthwise about half way and stick one edge the bag inside. Attach the other side of the bag to the other bark of tree.
    4. Cut out the top of tree using our Pattern or simply draw your own shape. Glue or tape onto the top of the bark.
    5. For the leaves, cut out small squares from red, orange, and yellow bright sheets. Glue onto tree.
    6. Cut out grass from a green bright sheet using our Pattern (or draw your own) and glue to bottom of bark.
    7. Don't forget to glue some fallen leaves onto the grass!
    8. Cut a piece of card stock about 8.5"x7.5" to attach to the back of the project. Glue or tape it on behind the plastic bag, attaching it to the 2 barks on the sides, the grass on bottom and the leaves on top.

Tip:
Instead of cutting out grass from green bright sheets, you can use Hygloss
Grass Border.

Now you're ready to try out your falling autumn leaves. Turn your leaves craft up-side-down and then back the right way and watch the leaves fall! What a lovely autumn craft for kids!
