Supplies Box

  1. Cut small squares (about 1"x1") of different shades of blue tissue paper.
  2. Glue onto the center of one paper plate as a collage. Let dry (so that the stickers will stick). Tip: Cover the rim of the plate too so that when the project is complete you will not see any of the plate.
  3. Put fish stickers on top of the tissue squares.
  4. Cut out the center of the second paper plate.
  5. Cut a circle from the clear cello wrap a bit larger than the hole in the plate. (Alternatively, you can use a piece of a plastic food storage bag.) It may be helpful to place the cello sheet on top of the hole and draw a circle with a marker before you cut. Then tape/staple the cut cello onto the plate to cover the hole.
  6. Now staple the two plates together around the edges, the plate with the hole up-side-down against the decorated plate.
  7. For added pizzaz, decorate the outside with beads and buttons.
  8. Optional: Punch two holes on the top, attach a string, and hang up.
